How much are tickets?

Friday 27 September – day ticket - $25

Saturday 28 September - day ticket - $35

Sunday 29 September – day ticket - $15

Three Day pass - $65

Children under 16 are free of charge with a paying adult ticket.

Bag checks will be conducted upon entry.

What are the times for the Festival?

Friday 27 September

1pm – 10pm

Saturday 28 September

10am – 10pm

Sunday 29 September

10am – 3pm

I have lost my ticket. Can I get another copy?

Yes, to print (or re-print) your Tamworth Barbeque Festival ticket you can log in to your registration via the Tamworth Barbeque Festival website.

Click on the ‘login’ button on the top right corner of any page of the Tamworth Barbeque Festival website

Username: the email address of the person that registered & purchased tickets

Password: You can reset this if forgotten (or not set up)

You will be taken to your Registration Summary, where you can view your invoice, payments and other event details

To print your tickets select Print Ticket or Print All Tickets if you have multiple tickets.

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes entry into the Festival for the whole day (or the three days if you’ve purchased a three day pass), live bands, expos and demonstrations are included in ticket price.  Merchandise, food, drink and trade stall purchases are an additional cost.

Can I purchase a ticket at the gate?

Tickets will be available online only initially, with gate tickets available unless the allocation is exhausted before the event.

I can’t come to the Festival now; can I please get a refund?

No refunds, exchanges or cancellations are available on ticket sales.

What is on each day?

Please check out the program section of the website.

This program will be added to in the months leading up to the Festival.

Can I purchase barbeque food at the event?

Yes – there will be a variety of food available at the food trucks, including low and slow barbeque options. 

How do I register to be a judge for the ABA Barbeque Competition?

To be eligible to be a judge you must:

  • Purchase a ticket to attend the Tamworth Barbeque Festival on Saturday 28 September (or the 3 day pass). On the contact details page, answer the question - “are you interested the ABA Competition” on the contact details page when purchasing the ticket
  • Be available from 9:30am to 2:30pm to taste and judge 5 proteins.

A briefing session will be held at 9:30am on Saturday 28 September with judging taking place on the hour from 10am to 2pm. 

Event organisers will be in contact with you in the coming weeks regarding your interest to judge. This is an expression of interest only at this time and does not guarantee you will be selected to be a judge at the Tamworth Barbeque Festival.

If you are selected as a judge at the Tamworth Barbeque Festival, you agree to these  terms and conditions.

Do the Barbeque Competition teams sell food?

No, sorry. Due to food regulations, the teams are not allowed to sell or give away their food.  

Is camping available on site?

We are not offering onsite camping at this event.  Please visit the Tamworth Region website to see the wide variety of accommodation options in and around Tamworth.

Are pets allowed?

No sorry, pets are not allowed; however assistance animals are permitted.

Do you honour Companion Cards?

Yes, Companion Cards will be honoured, please show staff at entry gate.

Can I bring my own chair and picnic blanket?

Yes, there will be a number of seating options provided, but you are more than welcome to bring a camp chair and picnic blanket.

Will you be selling merchandise?

There will be a variety of Tamworth Barbeque Festival merchandise available at the event.

Is the Festival a licensed event?

Yes, the site is licensed.  There will be alcohol available to purchase.  Some areas of the Festival will be unlicensed, please take note of signage when moving around the event.
