Tamworth Barbeque Festival

The Tamworth Barbeque Festival is supported by the Australian Barbeque Alliance (ABA). Applications for teams to enter the ABA competition are now open. 

Competition categories

• Chicken
• Pork ribs
• Pork #2
• Lamb
• Brisket

Entry fee

Entry is $400 per team (maximum 4 people), includes ABA sanction fee of $55.

Site size

Site size approximately 9m x 9m per team.

Prizes

Total cash prizes $19,000 plus trophies

Prizes for each protein category:

• 1st place $1000 + trophy
• 2nd place $800 + trophy
• 3rd place $600 + trophy
• 4th place $400 + trophy
• 5th place $200 + trophy

Grand Champion Prize - $2500 + trophy

Reserve Champion Prize - $1500 + trophy
